Final Manuscript Preparation Guidelines for University of Tennessee Mathematical Journal

This document provides details on typesetting and layout requirements pertaining to final manuscript submission to University of Tennessee Mathematical Journal.

Congratulations on your newly accepted article. Please ensure the manuscript is thoroughly proofread and free of grammatical or typographical errors. Additionally, authors are responsible for providing a high-quality LaTeX version of the article using the utmj.cls class file to generate the final PDF.

LaTeX Requirements

To prepare your manuscript in LaTeX, use the utmj.cls class file. Download the following files

in a same directory/folder, then LaTeX the sampleUTMJ.tex. One should get the PDF file as the one below

Prepare your manuscript taking the sample into consideration. Make sure the high-quality LaTex file using utmj.cls file that generate the PDF (Adobe's Portable Document Format) file. To keep publication costs as low as possible, UTMJ does not provide dedicated copyediting or proofreading services. Authors are entirely responsible for ensuring their manuscripts are thoroughly proofread and free of grammatical, spelling, and typographical errors before submission.

A few important notices

  1. Submit your final manuscript Latex file using umm.cls class that is free of errors.
  2. Submit also your final PDF manuscript that generated by the Latex file.
  3. If there are tables, figures, appendices, etc., you can include them all with the PDF manuscript file in one zip file.
