The Journal of One Health Systems (JOHS) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal committed to advancing health equity for families that include pets. Recognizing companion animals as essential members of the family, JOHS synthesizes perspectives so that care systems—including veterinary, human health, public health, and social services—can be aligned with economic, infrastructure, and policy supports to advance the health and well-being of pet families.

JOHS is hosted on the VOL Journals platform, maintained by the University of Tennessee Libraries, and is fully open access under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). No submission or publication fees are charged.

The journal is published by the Center for Pet Family Well-Being (CPFW) at the University of Tennessee. CPFW is a proud recipient of funding from Maddie's Fund^®, a Duffield Foundation.
